Dr Damaris Santander is an experienced UK-qualified dentist who is excited to bring her skills and passion for patient care to New Zealand.
She graduated from Queen Mary University of London in 2013 and became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2016.
Having worked in both London and Somerset, Damaris has extensive experience in general, restorative and surgical dentistry. She has a particular interest in dental implants, aesthetic dentistry, oral surgery and complex restorative treatment. She enjoys helping patients restore their oral health, relieve discomfort and regain confidence in their smiles.
Damaris takes a calm, personalised approach to dentistry and believes in listening carefully to her patients and working with them to achieve their goals. She is particularly passionate about helping nervous and anxious patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment.
She is in the final stages of her Master's in Dental Implants at the University of Bristol and has also completed a Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry.
Damaris is delighted to begin the next chapter of her career in New Zealand and looks forward to becoming part of the local community.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys travelling, hiking, being by the sea and exploring new cultures. She speaks Spanish and Romanian and is a keen tennis fan.
